Building Together in Faith Capital CampaignTo address the needs and plans of St. Philip Neri for the new sanctuary, the Parish initiated an intensive fundraising effort entitled the “Building Together In Faith” Capital Campaign in November 2010. The aim of this important, ongoing effort is to raise the funds required to build an appropriate worship space, one worthy of being called the House of God. The new sanctuary will reflect our Parish, rituals and communal practices, and serve to remind people of what it means to be a faith-filled community and worship as Catholics. St. Philip Neri’s New SanctuarySt. Philip Neri has outgrown our existing worship space, with the Parish now addressing this urgent need. Our enthusiasm for a new worship space is not solely prompted by our burgeoning membership, but is also defined by our desire to have an appropriate sanctuary, one worthy of being called a House of God. Our new church, which will lie adjacent to the existing Parish Center, will reflect our Parish, and enable us to reverently continue the ministry of Christ. Completion of the sanctuary, which will comfortably seat 1,200 people, is targeted for Easter 2013. |
